"Your Favorite Technique"

This month I chose the Cake Hat image from Julia Spiri. She is colored with a combination of Copics, Prima, and Hobby Lobby brand markers. The card is layered with die cuts, handmade flag, and Ofray ribbon. My favorite techniques are layering and using Stickles! For this image, Stickles has been added to the teapot, tea cups, and sections of the cake.

Easter/Pastel Colors

This month's challenge was to use Easter images or pastel colors. This tag was created using a manila file folder, modeling paste, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, ribbons for the topper, and lace trim at the bottom. The image is Lacy Sunshine's Bashful Bunny Boo colored with pencils and mineral spirits.

St. Patrick’s Day Challenge

For the March challenge, I used a digi from Bugaboo Stamps; "Theodore Shamrocks."

I colored the image with colored pencils and used odorless mineral spirits to smooth out the color. I stamped "Have a Lucky Day" on a banner and embossed it in green. For the background, I used a piece of dictionary paper I glimmered using my home-made glimmer glam. I also die cut a piece of green cardstock using a Tim Holtz die.
