Open-Minded Crafting Fun Design Team

January Challenge

"Try Something New"

I am so excited to be a part of the Open-Minded Crafting Fun Design Team. This month's challenge encourages us to step out of our comfort zones and "Try Something New."

For this month, I used a Digital Stamp from SmearedInk. Unfortunately, SmearedInk is no longer in business as of the new year. I am quite sad about it as the images were very interesting to work with.

For this challenge, my something new was the use of colored pencils to color the image, adding feathers to a card, and using some ribbon tape I found at Tuesday Morning. Here is what I came up with for my card.

To join in on the fun, visit Open-Minded Crafting Fun. You can learn the rules, check out the entries, and read about the AMAZING prizes from our sponsors. I look forward to seeing your entries!
